Marshfield Holds Third Successful “Tennis Block Party”
Tennis enthusiasts of all ages and ability levels flooded the Marshfield High School Tennis Courts on Saturday, June 28, to participate in a fun, free day of tennis games, exhibitions and competition at a USTA Tennis Block Party. The USTA Block Party was co-hosted by the Marshfield Recreation Department and the Marshfield Tennis Club. Participants were entertained by various activities. From youth tennis clinics, Cardio Tennis, racquet demos, ralleyball games, service speed recorded by radar gun, and raffles, there was – literally – something FUN for everyone!
With the help of dedicated volunteers and contributors, the event was a wonderful success! A big "thank you" to the following organizations and individuals:

MTC Provides You Court Relief
Your prayers have been answered, for the summer months the Marshfield Tennis Club is funding the cost of a Porta-Potty adjacent to the high school courts. You find it discretely located in the stand of trees by court 1. Giving you another reason not to go home and to keep playing that one more set…
New Nets for the High School Courts Fundraiser
The MTC contributed $400 towards the purchase of new nets at the High School. Enjoy!
Marshfield Tennis Club is open to all tennis enthusiasts in Marshfield and the surrounding communities.
